Higia Flow and the importance of purified air diffusion in rooms
Recently we published in “Tecnohospital” magazine a study about the importance of air distribution in rooms protected by air purifiers. It is not enough to filter the air from dangerous bacteria and virus but it is also fundamental to guaranty that this air reaches the places where it is real required.
Our case focus on Oral Surgery because of the fact that the patient is unprotected during the intervention due to the obvious need to remove the face mask. The fact that there is, in most cases, an aspiration and filtration of the aerosols, the fact is that the patient is never protected against possible contamination of ambient air.
The solution proposed by Higia Flow is to create a Laminar Flow of filtered air directly above patients head.
